Media Center Kakheti’s (MCK)
mission is to support strengthening of democratic governance through empowerment of local media, civil society organizations and communities to actively participate in decision-making processes, increased monitoring and accountability of state and non-state actors working in Georgia, and particularly, Kakheti Region.
to become a strong and financially and institutionally sustainable non-governmental organization in Georgia, and particularly, in Kakheti Region that contributes to implementation of successful democratic reforms.

Kakheti Regional NGO/CSOs Local Self-governments Local entrepreneur women’s Farmers, Women Youth, Ethnic minorities, Rural populations, especially residing in remote areas.
The main geographical area where MCK operates is Georgia:
The organization is based in Telavi and mainly includes 8 municipalities of Kakheti region, highland and remote villages, including ethnic minority settlements.
The five-member Board is the supreme governing body of MCK. Board’s functions and responsibilities: to create permanent and temporary functional units within MCK; to accept/review reports about the implemented activities; to ensure financial sustainability of MCK. Board members are not entitled to receive grants, salaries or any other financial rewards from MCK.
Chairman’s main functions are to represent and provide overall leadership of the executive body and provide scientific management of MCK’s projects. Executive Director is in charge of the administrative staff and provides a daily management. Internal Council is an internal consultative and coordinating body that meets on a regular basis. Interns and volunteers are experiencing in administrative or project management departments.
